Christmas is Coming!

Good morning everyone. It is cold out there but the sun is shining, how can we complain about that?

Looking at the calendar is really scary. Thanksgiving is just around the corner and Christmas following just behind.

Don’t forget the Christmas Bazaar at Poultney High School on Black Friday and Saturday, the 27th and 28th. After you have checked out the bazaar hop downtown to check out the bargains at the area stores. Shop local.

We will be offering a Mystery Discount from 10% to 30% off of non sale items. Savings for everyone.

Come in and browse for ideas, gift certificates as well as many finished items. We honor all major credit cards and will offer a layaway plan as well.

July Update

Good Morning Everyone:

I am back from Alaska and ready to start many new projects.  Presently I am knitting an afghan for my granddaughter for Christmas and a couple of other Christmas presents as well.
As you all are probably aware October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Stitchy Women has vowed to help those who have been diagnosed with this cruel disease.  Please join us in knitting, crocheting or sewing, hats, scarves and knockers to be given to those in need.  This is a great way to use your stash.  I will offer a 25% discount off the original price of yarn to be used for this project.  I also have yarn discounted to 40% off original price that can also be used. Need help with patterns, go on the internet or stop in to the shop.  We are working on samples as we speak.  Sign up for this worthy cause now.
I have received a lot of new yarn that can be used for any project.  I am working on an afghan sample make out of Flutterby which is an extremely soft bulky yarn.  We also have swaddle which again is very soft and bulky.
Socks are popular this time of year because of their portability.  Come check out the vest patterns we have with a couple of samples as well.
We now have a Treasure Chest which consists of samples of yarn what we no longer carry and therefore willing to sell the finished products at discounted prices.
Stop in on a Thursday afternoon for social knit from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.  We are never sure how many will be here but all are invited.
We offer a layaway plan with a 25% down and 25% each of the next three weeks.  We accept VISA, Mastercard and Discover for your convenience.
I look forward to seeing you.
